APPLICATIONS INVITED FOR CHIEF MINISTER YOUTH DEVELOPMENT SCHEME

Shillong, March 13, 2010: The Deputy Commissioner, Jaintia Hills District, Jowai has invited applications from Registered organizations, NGOs, Educational Institutions within the district to take up various programme and activities under the Chief Minister Youth Development Scheme such as Tourism cum Youth Festival, Youth Adventure Programme, Awareness Programme and Youth Counseling and Career Guidance. Applications should be submitted to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner (Planning Branch) on or before March 30, 2010.

EXAM RESULTS FOR MGREGA AND MGREGS VOLUNTEERS DECLARED

Shillong, March 13, 2010: The Deputy Commissioner, Jaintia Hills District, Jowai has informed that the results of the exams conducted for MGREGA and MGREGS Volunteers on August 1, 2009 have been declared. The selected candidates will be engage as MGREGA and MGREGS Volunteers on contractual basis and are posted in various blocks. Shri Skinly Pohshna and Smt. Arda L. Nongbri are posted at Khliehriat Block, Shri Hemes Roy Lanong and Smt. Sabina Gashnga at Amlarem Block and Shri Jackson Darner at Saipung Block. These candidates are required to collect their appointment from the Office of the Project Director, DRDA, Jaintia Hills immediately.
