Press Release No. 301/12 NATIONAL YOUTH AWARDS Shillong, August 22, 2012: The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Meghalaya invites nominations for National Youth Awards 2012 from Individual and Voluntary Organisations. The Awards are conferred upon Young Men and Women between the ages 13 – 35 years for their outstanding work in the field of national development and social service. He /She should have rendered service in the relevant field continuously during the last three to five years prior to the year for which award is to be given. Eligible persons / organizations may apply in the prescribed form available in the office of the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Meghalaya, Shillong enclosing their bio-data and a brief note on the achievements recorded by them along with documents supporting their claim. Application should reach the Office of the undersigned on or before 27th August 2012. |
