LISTED SHOPS TO OPEN ON 28TH AND 29TH MAY

The Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong has informed that the listed shops namely, Bhajanlal, Police Bazaar and Wheels & Wares, Dhankheti will be open on 28th May, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, while Electro Vision, Police Bazaar and Home Care, Dhankheti will be open on 29th May, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The Deputy Commissioner informed that the above listed shops shall restrict their sale in a stand-alone section specifically only for mobile and repair services and recharge, electrical goods, IT products (computer and printers) sale and services, face mask, sanitizers, infrared thermometer and allied to combat COVID-19. The listed shops are to restrict their staff to the barest minimum, the workers are to wear masks at all times, maintain social distancing, respiratory etiquette, hand hygiene and compliance to all other advisories of Health and Family Welfare Department.

RICE AND PULSES (DAL) UNDER PMGKAY SCHEME

The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District has informed that Rice under PMGKAY Scheme for the month of June 2020 quota and Pulses (Dal) under PMGKAY Scheme for the month of May 2020 quota is being released through their respective Fair Price Shops. AAY and PHH quota of rice will be distributed at the scale of 5 kgs per head respectively free of cost, while AAY and PHH quota of Pulses (Dal) will be distributed at the scale of 1 kg per card respectively free of cost. All Fair Price Shops are directed to distribute the quota as soon as the stock arrives and to display the list of beneficiaries and the timing of operation in their respective shops. Any non-supply, over-charging of rate, supply of less prescribed scale or inferior quality may be reported to the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District.
