COACHING FOR CIVIL SERVICES (PRELIMINARY) EXAMINATION, 2018

The Director, AISPETC, Shillong has informed that applications for admission into All India Services Pre Examination Training Centre (AISPETC), Shillong, are invited from candidates both male and female, belonging to Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, OBCs of Meghalaya. Candidates whose parents are Safaiwallas who are eligible to appear at the UPSC Civil Services (Qualifying) Examination 2018 shall be eligible for admission into the Centre. The Coaching will be imparted through English medium. Candidates who have at least passed the Degree Examination with a minimum of 50 per cent average marks in aggregate and who have not undergone training or have undergone training only once in any of the Pre Examination Training centres in the country and who intend to apply for the UPSC Civil Preliminary Examination 2018 will be eligible for consideration for enrolment into the Centre for Coaching for the said Competitive Examination. The applicants should apply or should have applied to the UPSC for admission into the CS Preliminary Examination within the time frame fixed by the UPSC. No hostel facilities are available but the out station trainees admitted into the Coaching Course will be eligible for a Stipend of Rs 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) per month and Local Trainees a monthly Stipend of Rs 700/- (Rupees Seven Hundred only) subject to their fulfilling the prescribed terms and conditions of attendance, income limit etc indicated in the guidelines displayed in the Notice Board of the Centre. The last date for receipt of application in the prescribed form is within 28th April 2017. Printed application form may be obtained from the Office of the Deputy Secretary, Personnel & Admv Reforms (B) Department, Government of Meghalaya on all working days between 11 am to 3 pm on payment of Rs 20/- only. No request for forms will be entertained after the fixed date. List of selected candidates will be displayed on the Office Notice Board on 15th May 2017 at 1 pm. Classes will start from 1st June 2017.

RAJ BHAWAN OPEN FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN

The Deputy Secretary to the Governor of Meghalaya has informed that the Raj Bhawan, Shillong will be kept open for school children in uniforms on the 19th April 17 (Wed) from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm to enable them to view the spring bloom of flowers. The children should be accompanied by their teachers. The Principals of the schools that wish to send their children to visit the Raj Bhawan on the aforesaid date may confirm to the Raj Bhawan, Shillong indicating specifically the number of children and the accompanying teachers at least a day in advance to the Contact Numbers 0364-2223001/ 2223487.
