Press Release No. 404/09 DRIVE AGAINST ILLICIT LIQUOR In its continued drive against illicit liquor, the Excise Staff of East Khasi Hills District, conducted raids in restaurants/stalls in the town and its outskirt where during the month of August 2009 detected 39 cases with a seizure of 10.730 ml of i/d liquor and 2.985ml IMFI. In this connection 37 persons were arrested under Excise Act. |
