Press Release No. 392/10 TWO AMBULANCES FOR JIRANG C AND RD BLOCK Shillong, August 27, 2010: The local MLA and Chairman, MIDC, Mr. J.D.Rymbai released two ambulances on August 26, 2010 which was purchased under the SRWP 2009-10 to the beneficiary of Ranibar Area Development Committee and Nongrim Jirang Area Development Committee. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rymbai observed that, various facilities and good infrastructure are to be in placed, should the citizen of the country achieve something in life. While underlining the need to maintain the vehicle in good condition, Mr. Rymbai also urged upon the Committee to use it for the benefit of the people and opined that the two ambulances would be able to cater to the need of the sick and ailing people of the areas. Among others who were present and spoke on the occasion includes Mr. A.Ranee, Local MDC, Mr.W.B.Marbaning, BDO, Jirang C&RD Block, Headmen of the different Villages and Syeem of Hima jirang. |
