Press Release No. 216/18 YOUNG TALENT ARTISTES AWARD The Director of Arts & Culture, Meghalaya has informed that the North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Dimapur, invites application for Young Talent Artistes Award for the year 2017-18 from eligible candidates, talented/skilled in the categories of folk music & songs, folk dance, theatre, creative arts/visual arts, handicrafts, etc.Young artistes in the age group of 18 to 30 years as on 31st March, 2017 are eligible for the award. The award carries a sum amount of Rs. 10,000/- and a citation. Candidates should be an Indian citizen and indigenous to the eight North Eastern States. Candidates who have received any such awards (State/National) in the same field are not eligible for the scheme. Deserving artistes may collect the application form from the office of the Directorate of Arts & Culture, Government of Meghalaya, Shillong and the last date for submission of the form is on the 25th April, 2018. |
