Press Release No. 139/12 RUN FOR A CAUSE Shillong, April 18, 2012: The office of the District Planning Officer, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong will organized a marathon “Run for a Cause” to save Wahumkhrah and Umshyrpi rivers on April 21st, 2012 to be flagged off from Madan Iewrynghep, Shillong at 10 AM. Interested participants can get themselves registered on April 21st, 2012 at Madan Iewrynghep, Shillong from 9.00 AM onwards. The route for the marathon will be from Madan Iewrynghep, Fire Brigade towards St. Edmunds, Dhankheti, Malki, Barik, Civil Hospital, State Central Library, IGP, Kachari, DC’s Office, Governor’s House, Chief Secretary’s Residence, Lailad and will culminate at Polo parking lot. |
