ORDER

Based on the contact tracing status and testing of the high risk contacts and the reports received thereof and in supersession of the order issued on 28th August, 2020 and in exercise of the powers under the Meghalaya Epidemic Diseases, COVID-19 Regulations, 2020 and Amendments thereof, the District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District in an order issued on 15th September, 2020 has lifted the containment for the house of Baldeep Singh in Plot-1 Block A at Sweeper Colony, Mawlonghat with effect from 15th September, 2020.

ORDERS FOR CONTAINMENT

Due to the detection of positive COVID-19 cases/high risk contacts in the house of Mr. Rakesh Prasad Sah, Mr. Anindya Deb and Mr. Ranadhir Pal residing within the RCC building of Mr. Ahmed, Upper Lachaumiere, near Angel’s Play School, apartment of Kamlesh Roy (tenant of Smti Julie Nongbet), Bishnupur Inverneil, and house of Smti D. Lyngdoh Nongpiur, Lawsohtun Block 6 which requires contact tracing, testing and isolation to be effected in the interest of health of general public to prevent against any possible spread of COVID-19, the District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District, in orders issued on 15th September, 2020 has declared the above mentioned apartment and houses as micro-containment areas so as to restrict unregulated entry and exit on the site with effect from 15th September, 2020. The orders states that no persons are allowed to move into the containment areas and inhabitants within this area shall not move out, besides all inhabitants within the containment areas shall strictly remain inside their homes. The concerned Incident Commanders shall supervise and monitor strict compliance of these orders. Any violation of these orders shall entail prosecution under the penal provision of Disaster Management Act, 2005 and IPC.

ORDER FOR RESUMPTION

Based on the contact tracing status and test reports of the high risk contacts of In Fashion, G. S. Road, Shillong, and the reports received thereof, and in supersession of the order issued on 14th September, 2020 and in exercise of powers under the Meghalaya Epidemic Diseases, COVID-19 Regulations, 2020 and Amendments thereof, the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District in an order issued on 15th September, 2020 states that In Fashion, G. S. Road, Shillong may resume operation with effect from 15th September, 2020 following strict compliance of all the norms, SOPs and advisories of Health and Family Welfare Department.
