Press Release No. 13/11 NOTICE OF PUBLICATION OF PRELIMINARY ELECTORAL ROLLS JOWAI MUNICIPALITY WARD Shillong, January 11, 2011: The District Magistrate, Jaintia Hills District has informed to all the Electors of: Khimusniang, Shilliangraij-Umchangiar, Mission Compound-Lumkyrwiang, Chutwakhu, Mynthong, Iawmusiang, Newhill, Ladthalaboh Club, Caroline Colony, Tyndowapung, Lumpariat, Mookyrdup, Mooralong, Dongmihsngi, Moosalyngkat- Salaroh, Tpepppale, Dulong, Panaliar, Iongpiah, and Lumiongkjam. The Electoral Rolls have been prepared in accordance with the rules of the Election Commissioner Of Municipal Board under the Meghalaya Municipal Act 1973 and a copy thereof is available for inspection at the office of the District Magistrate and in the office of the Jowai Municipal Board during office hours and also in the office of the Secretary of the concerned Localities within the Municipality. The qualification date for the preparation of the Electoral Rolls is 1st January 2011. If with reference to the above said qualification date, there be any claim for the inclusion of names in the Roll or any objection to the inclusion of Names or any objection to particular in any entry, it should be lodged on or before the 13.01.2011 in Form II or Form III as may be appropriate. Every such claim or objection should either be presented to the office of the District Magistrate, Jaintia Hills or send by post and not to reach later than the aforesaid date. |
