PASSPORT ADALAT

Shillong, January 3, 2011: The Regional Passport Officer, Guwahati has informed that the Regional Passport Office, Guwahati will conduct a Passport Adalat to solve the grievances connected with passport matters. The passport applicants who have submitted their application after 31/12/2007 and before 1/1/2010, and whose passport has not been granted for want of some clarification and or documents may participate in the Passport Adalat to be held at Regional Passport Office, Rani Bagan, Basistha Road, 3rd Bye Lane Guwahati-28 on 8/1/2011, 5/2/2011 and 5/3/2011 between 11 am and 3 pm.

All such applicants must register themselves with the office of the Regional Passport Officer upto one day before the above mentioned date by giving the following information i.e. name, address, telephone no, email-id (if any), passport application file no., date of application, and remarks, if any and the same may be sent to the Regional Passport Office, Guwahati in an envelope marked “PASSPORT ADALAT” either personally or by post at Regional Passport Office, Rani Bagan, Basistha Road, 3rd Bye Lane Guwahati-781-028. The information can also be sent to this office by fax at 0361-2260101, or by email at rpo.guwahati@mea.gov.in clearly mentioning the subject as “Passport Adalat”.
