WHOLE MEAL ATTA RELEASED FOR AUGUST

Shillong, October 3, 2012: Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District has informed that Whole Meal Atta for the month of August 2012 is being distributed through the Fair Price shops as per scale of 1217 grams per head and price of Rs 7.80 per Kg.

Any non supply or overcharging of the rate by the suppliers may be brought to the notice of the undersigned with all the details.

HEALTH MELA TO BE HELD AT PYNURSLA CHC

Shillong, October 3, 2012: District Medical and Health Officer, East Khasi Hills, Shillong has informed that 2 day Health Mela under National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) will be held at Pynursla CHC on 5th and 6th October 2012 from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.

Dr Mukul Sangma, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Meghalaya has kindly consented to be the chief guest on 5th October 2012 at 11.00 am. Shri Prestone Tynsong, Minister I/c Border Area Development Department, Forest Environment Department, Sericulture & Weaving Department, Govt. of Meghalaya will preside over the inaugural ceremony.

Meghalaya Maternity Benefit Scheme and ASHA Incentive scheme (MMBS) will be launched and Pension under Chief Minister’s Social Assistance scheme for Infirm, Widows and Disabled will also be distributed during this health mela.
