IGNOAPS RELEASED IN EAST KHASI HILLS

Shillong, November 1, 2012: The Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District has informed that the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS) under East Khasi Hills has been released @ Rs. 250/- per month to the beneficiaries who have attained the age of 60-79 years and @ Rs. 500/- per month to the beneficiaries who have attained the age of 80 years and above for a period of August 2012. The scheme is being distributed/credited through the Account No. duly opened by the beneficiaries in their respective Banks/Post Office. Any case of non-transfer may be brought to the notice of the office of the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong.

UNAUTHORIZED ABSENT FROM DUTY

Shillong, November 1, 2012: SI D. Swaraj of West Khasi Hills DEF has been absent from duty from 20.8.2012 till date. Even after serving several notices to him to his place of posting and to his home address directing him to report to duty, there is no information of the whereabouts about the said person.

He is directed to report back to duty within 5 days, failing which stern suo moto departmental disciplinary action will be initiated against him.
