I C D S CENTRE INAUGURATED

The I C D S Centre at Khonglah village, Jaintia Hills was inaugurated by the Meghalaya Parliamentary Secretary, Mr. R L Tariang who is also the local MLA of the area on December 7, 2005

In his brief speech, Mr. Tariang lauded the effort of the Seng Kynthei of Khonglah village. He further urged upon the people of the village, especially the women folks to work hand in hand with the Government for overall development of the society and the State as a whole. He also informed of a plan to set up a crèche and a public latrine in the village

It may be mentioned that the function was organized by the Seng Bhalang Ki Kynthei, Khonglah village
