GOVERNOR HOLDS REVIEW MEETING WITH OFFICIALS OF JAINTIA HILLS

Hon'ble Governor of Meghalaya Shri Satya Pal Malik today had a meeting with officers of the Different Government Departments under East Jaintia Hills and West Jaintia Hills District respectively to review the performance of Central schemes and Prime Minister's flagship schemes and programmes at Jaintia Hills at Circuit House, Jowai

In the meeting, the Governor also reviewed the implementation of programmes such as MGNREGA, PMAY, NHM, PMJAY MHIS, SSA, PM Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shri. S.S Syiemlieh, East Jaintia Hills and Extra Assistant Commissioner Shri. M.A .Challam, West Jaintia Hills informed the Governor of the status of the various centrally sponsored schemes being implemented in the District through power point presentation.

Deputy Commissioner Shri. Garod LSN Dykes, IAS, West Jaintia Hills and Shri, E. Kharmalki, IAS East Jaintia Hills, Additional Deputy Commissioners, EACs of both the District, Superintendents of Police B. Marak, MPS, West Jaintia Hills, Shri. Deepak Kumar Pelecha, IPS East Jaintia Hills were present.

Interacting with Media persons the Governor said that the purpose of the meeting was to get first hand information on how the centrally sponsored schemes are being implemented in the District.
