FREE DISTRIBUTION OF TEXTBOOKS

Shillong, February 19, 2013: The State Project Director, SEMAM (SSA) & Secretary Education Department, Government of Meghalaya, has informed that the SSA State Education Mission Authority of Meghalaya is procuring textbooks for free distribution to Lower Primary and Upper Primary school children of the SSA, Government and Government aided schools in Meghalaya.

For Lower Primary, the textbooks include English, Arithmetic, Creative Expression, AHPL, Environment Studies, English 2nd Language, Mathematics (Enjoy Mathematics-5), Science, Social Studies. For Upper Primary, textbooks include English (2nd Language), Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Hindi.

All the above books is being supplied free of cost and should be collected from the respective office of the Blocks. Any of the schools not willing to accept the books may inform their respective Deputy Inspector of Schools.
