GROUP COMMANDERS OF NCC NORTH EAST REGION CALLS ON MEGHALAYA GOVERNOR

Lead by Major Gen. Gagan Deep, ADG NCC NER Dte, a team of Group Commanders today called on the Governor of Meghalaya Phagu Chauhan at Raj Bhavan, Shillong.

The ADG briefed the Governor about the activities of NCC in North Eastern region and its future expansion plans. He also highlighted the performance of the cadets of Meghalaya and specially the pursuits of SUO RISAIBA LALOO, a student of Synod College, Meghalaya who was adjudged the Best Commander during the NCC PM Rally held at Cariappa Parade Ground, New Delhi on January 28.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTANT GENERAL CALLS ON MEGHALAYA GOVERNOR

Ms. Shefali S. Andaleeb, Principal Accountant General, Meghalaya called on the Governor of Meghalaya Shri Phagu Chauhan today at Raj Bhavan, Shillong.

During their meeting, the Principal Accountant General appraised the Governor about the functions discharged by the offices of PAG (Audio) and PAG (Accounts and Entitlement). PAG also briefed him of the status of audit of three Autonomous District Councils which are audited by the C and AG of India under 6 th Schedule of the Constitution and presented copies of the latest reports to the Governor.
