MISSION INDRADHANUSH PHASE IV

The four rounds of Mission Indradhanush Phase IV will be observed for a period of seven working days from 7thFebruary, 2017, 7th March, 2017, 7th April, 2017 and 8th May, 2017 at fixed vaccination sites in selected District across the state of Meghalaya, namely, East Khasi Hills, South West Khasi Hills, East Jaintia Hills, West Jaintia Hills, North Garo Hills, West Garo Hills and South West Garo Hills. With Phase IV, it is hoped that partly protected and unprotected children and pregnant women will be covered and ultimately reach the goal of full immunization for every child. The National Health Mission and State Health Department, Meghalaya urges all parents of children less than 2 years of age and pregnant women who are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated to come forward and avail the services especially provided for them. Public can get detailed information from ANM/AWW/ASHA in their respective villages or they can visit a Government Health Centre nearby.

BSNL OFFERS NEW LANDLINE CONNECTION AT RS 49 PER MONTH

The Assistant General Manager (Marketing) O/o The CGMT, NE-I Circle, BSNL, Shillong has informed that in a series of offering customer friendly schemes for the benefits of customers and to attract new customers to experience wireless services, BSNL had launched a very cost effective and affordable promotional landline voice plan ‘Experience LL 49’. Under this plan, customers can make unlimited calls to all operators’ networks on all Sundays (24 hours) and during night hours (from 9 pm to 7am) without any additional cost. Under this plan fixed monthly charges of Rs 49/- is being charged for the first six months. After the expiry of six month period the customer shall be charged monthly plan charged of General Plan of the respective area. BSNL’s wireline service under ‘Experience LL 49’ plan is now being extended till 31st March 2017. New Landline connections cab be subscribed by visiting nearest BSNL customer service centre or calling Toll Free number-1800 345 1500. NOTICE

This is for information of the general public that the office of the Meghalaya Integrated Information System (MIIS), under the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, located at Lower Lachumiere, Shillong has shifted to the new building of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations at Lower Lachumiere, Shillong. The normal functioning of the office of the Meghalaya Integrated Information System (MIIS) will be temporarily suspended w.e.f. 6th February, 2017 until further notice as the office has to relocate and re-install all the equipments in the new building, particularly the equipments used for communication purposes.
