DISTRIBUTION OF CALENDARS BY CANDIDATES DISALLOWED

Shillong, February 12, 2013: Upon receiving information that some of the candidates have published Calendars for the year 2013 and the same are being distributed to the public, the District Election Officer, West Khasi Hills District had asked such candidates to refrain from further distribution of the Calendars. He has also directed those candidates to submit a copy of the published Calendars and the address of the printing press to the office of the DEO, West Khasi Hills District, Nongstoin.

PULSE POLIO IMMUNIZATION PROGRAMME RESCHEDULED

Shillong, February 12, 2013: The Additional District Medical & Health Officer, East Khasi Hills has informed that the 2nd Round of NID for Pulse Polio Immunization Programme which was scheduled from 25th February, 2013 has now been rescheduled to 4th March, 2013 due to the upcoming Assembly Election in Meghalaya.
