IG BSF APPRAISES MEGHALAYA GOVERNOR ON BORDER SECURITY ISSUES

Shri Pradip Kumar, IPS, IG BSF Meghalaya Frontier today called on the Governor, Meghalaya, Shri Phagu Chauhan at Raj Bhavan, Shillong.

During the visit, IG BSF briefed the Governor on different border security related issues. He also specified on the vital role played of BSF in maintenance of the sanctity of the international border, controlling trans-border crimes and also in creating sense of security among the border population along the Indo-Bangladesh Border.
