WHOLESALE TRADERS TO BE OPEN FOR LIFTING OF STOCKS ON 25TH AND 26TH MAY, 2020

In view of the prohibitory order promulgated under Section 144 CrPC issued on 17th May, 2020 in East Khasi Hills District concerning the COVID-19 situation, the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District in an order issued on 21st May, 2020 has directed listed wholesale traders of Cantonment, Mawlong Hat, Paltan Bazar, Madanrting and Happy Valley markets to keep their establishments open for lifting of stocks on 25th and 26th May, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District informed that lifting of stocks on 25th May, 2020 will be for civil-sub divisions and community & rural development blocks of East Khasi Hills district, East and West Jaintia Hills districts and their respective civil sub-divisions and Ri Bhoi district.

On 26th May, 2020, lifting of stocks will be for Shillong agglomeration and its adjoining areas, areas under Laitumkhrah, Laban including Lawsohtun, Sadar, Lumdiengjri excluding Mylliem, Rynjah including Mawpat Block, Madanrting excluding villages under Mylliem and Mawryngkneng Blocks and Mawlai Police Stations and West and South West Khasi Hills districts and their respective civil sub-divisions. The Order to lift stocks applies to identified retail shops of civil sub-divisions and community & rural development blocks in East Khasi Hills district and retail traders duly certified by Deputy Commissioners of East and West Jaintia Hills, West and South West Khasi Hills and Ri Bhoi Districts only to specifically pick up stocks for sale on days permitted by respective District Administrations. According to the order, lifting of stocks will be strictly regulated by executive magistrates stationed on site and there should be no crowding and social distancing of 1 metre is to be strictly adhered to. The order also stated that listed registered suppliers and retailers of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department will also open for sale of livestock, poultry and pet feed.

SK OIL WHOLESALE TRADERS AND CHAKKI MILLS TO OPEN FOR LIFTING OF STOCKS

In view of the Prohibitory Order promulgated in East Khasi Hills District issued on 17th May, 2020 concerning the COVID-19 situation, the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District in an order issued on 21st May, 2020 has directed listed SK Oil wholesale traders and Chakki Mills (wholemeal atta) of East Khasi Hills District to keep their establishments open for lifting of stocks on 25th May, 2020 for rural areas and 26th May, 2020 for urban areas from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on each day. The order to lift stocks applies to identified SK Oil retail shops and FPS dealers to specifically pick up stocks for sale on days permitted by the District Administration. The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District said that lifting of stocks will be strictly regulated by Inspector and Sub-Inspector of Supply stationed on site and there should be no crowding and social distancing of 1 metre is to be strictly adhered to.
