CIRCUIT COURT SITTING OF THE CENTRAL ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL

The Under Secretary to Government of Meghalaya, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (B) Department has informed that the Central Administrative Tribunal, Guwahati Bench comprising of Hon’ble Mrs. Manjula Das, Member (J) and Hon’ble Mr. N. Neihsial, Member (A) will hold a Circuit Court of Central Tribunal at Shillong on 14th and 15th March, 2019 at the Court Room of the State Commission, Meghalaya Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, Administrative Building, Lower Lachumiere, Shillong from 10:30 A.M. onwards. All cases pertaining to the State of Meghalaya will be taken up during the Circuit Bench Sitting. Advocates appearing for their parties and the parties in person are requested to appear before the Circuit Sitting of the Tribunal.

MALANGKONA POLICE OUTPOST

For public convenience and better administration, a new Police Out Post at Malangkona in the West Khasi Hills District has been created to be known as Malangkona Police Outpost. This was informed by the Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Home (Police) Department in the notification dated 5th March, 2019. The areas under the jurisdiction of Malangkona Police Outpost shall cease to be under the Nongstoin Police Station. The boundaries of the Malangkona Police Outpost is, in the North-Kamrup, Assam, East-Riangdo Police Station, South- Shallang Police Station and West- North Garo Hills District. The villages under Malangkona Police Outpost are Thangkhula, Malangkhasi, Sildubi, Weirang, Nongporiu, Seminaguri, Mawsmai, Jaslar, Nonghawei, Nongmawkhar, Madanjira, Arengh, Amagoan, Abiram, Rangseng, Dilbot, Joypur, Hahuapara and Dobakdrop.
