MEGHALAYA GOVERNOR VISITS DURGATEMPLE AND MONOLITHS AT NARTIANG

His Excellency, Governor of Meghalaya, Shri Phagu Chauhan visited the famed Durga temple at Nartiang today the 30th March 2023. He was welcomed by the Deputy Commissioner West Jaintia Hills District, Shri B S Sohliya and Superintendent of Police West Jaintia Hills District, Shri Bikram D Marak, other representatives of the District Administration and Police, representatives of the temple and the local durbar and residents, other District Officials from various departments and students of Ram Krishna Mission Secondary School with a guard of honour. After visiting the temple, Shri Phagu Chauhan went to pay a visit to the Garden of Monoliths of the same village. He then proceeded to the Soil and Water Conservation Rest House in Jowai for lunch and interacted with District Officials, after which his Excellency proceeded back to Raj Bhawan.
