Press Release No. 184/18 RAIDS CONDUCTED The Deputy Commissioner (Excise), West Garo Hills Tura has informed that the Excise Department has conducted raids in the entire district of West Garo Hills and arrested 66 persons under the Excise Act during the month of January 2018. A total of 66 cases and 29 unclaimed cases were detected with seizure amounting to approximately 298.05 litres of IMFL, 165.575 litres of beer and 105.25 litres of ID liquor. In this regard 20 cases were disposed off and a fine amounting to Rs, 25, 200 /- was realised. |
