FIRE SERVICE DAY OBSERVED

In rememberance of the great fire fighters the Fire and Emergency Service Station of Jowai, Saphai, Amlarem and Dawki observed the National Fire Sevice Day, under the theme, "Unite to Ignite & Fire Safety India. " The observance began with a few minutes silence paying tribute to the bravery and dedication of the fire personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty.

Dawki Sub/officer Sabius Dhar, Saphai Sub/officer Risalan Rymbai, Amlarem Sub/officer Robert Rymbui and Jowai Station officer Anthony Rymbai led the tributes at their respective station. Prior to this, various awareness programmes were conducted on fire safety and preparedness.
