SK OIL DISTRIBUTED

The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District, Shillong, has informed the public consumers of Shillong Sadar Sub-Division that S.K. Oil for the month of April-2005 is being distributed through the S.K. Oil Retailers to all Family Identity Card holders in Urban area and households under Rural area. The scale per F.I. Card for Urban area is 09 litres while 04 litres per household will be distributed in rural area. The price is Rs. 9.16p excluding transport charge and handling charge to be determined by the local Headman/Vigilance Committee both Urban and Rural areas.

Any non-supply of S.K. Oil by the Retailers may be brought to the notice of the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District, Shillong along with the details. The local dealer quota for each locality is also available in the District Website at dcshillong.nic.in.

DIC TO ORGANISE ENTREPRENEURIAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

The District Industries Centre, West Garo Hills, Tura, will organise a one-month comprehensive Entrepreneurial Development Programme for unemployed graduates of Garo Hills District. Interested young unemployed graduates of any stream may apply for the same in a prescribed format available in the office of the General Manager, DIC, West Garo Hills, Tura. The last date for submission of duly filled application form is on May 18, 2005 and the date of interview is on May 19, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. in the office chamber of the General Manager.

GROUND SURVEY TO BE CONDUCTED

As directed by the High Court, the Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Forest department has informed all land owners of Sohbar Elaka that the ground survey work will be conducted by the Meghalaya Survey, Government of Meghalaya from April 26, 2005 at the site at Kommorah.
