PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARIES APPOINTED

Shillong, May 6, 2010: The Chief Minister of Meghalaya has appointed the under mentioned Members of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly as Parliamentary Secretaries to assist the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Ministers or the Minister(s) with effect from April 27, 2010.

Mr. Abdus Saleh will assist Chief Minister i/c Taxation, Ministers i/c Home (Police) and Transport. Mr. Shitlang Pale will assist Chief Minister i/c PWD (Buildings) and Non-Conventional Energy. Mr. S W Rymbai will assist Dy. Chief Minister i/c Mining & Geology and Minister i/c Printing & Stationery and Minister Fisheries. Mr. Samuel M Sangma will assist Dy. Chief Minister i/c Mining & Geology and Ministers Food & Civil Supplies and Water Resources. Mr. Nehlang Lyngdoh will assist Chief Minister i/c Commerce & Industries and Minister C & RD. Mr. Francis P R Sangma will assist Chief Minister i/c Horticulture and Minister Power. Mr Pynshngain Syiem will assist Chief Minister i/c Agriculture and Ministers Social Welfare and Food & Civil Supplies. Dr. P W Khongjee will assist Dy. Chief Minister i/c Health & Family Welfare and Ministers Tourism and GAD. Mr. Ismail Marak will assist Ministers Public Health Engineering and Transport. Mr. Limison D Sangma will assist Ministers Excise and Forests & Environment. Mr. Saleng Sangma will assist Dy. Chief Minister Animal Husbandry & Veterinary and Ministers PWD (Roads) and Home (Jails). Mr. L Rymbui will assist Chief Minister i/c Border Areas Development. Mr. Sniawbhalang Dhar will assist Chief Minister i/c Housing and Minister PWD (Roads). Mr. Coming One Ymbon will assist Ministers i/c Sericulture & Weaving and Soil Conservation. Dr. A Pariong will assist Ministers Transport and Secretariat Administration Department. WALK IN INTERVIEW FOR THE POST OF CHECKER

Shillong, April 27, 2010: The Commissioner of Taxes has informed that the walk-in-interview for the post of Checker in the office of the Commissioner of Taxes has been extended till the 30th April 2010.
