FINAL PUBLICATION OF PHOTO ELECTORAL ROLL DISTRIBUTED AT SOUTH WEST GARO HILLS

The Electoral Office of South West Garo Hills has successfully completed the compilation of the final electoral roll for the upcoming elections. Final publication of photo electoral roll with reference to 27-03-2024 as qualifying date was distributed to the executive heads of recognized political parties of South West Garo Hills by Additional Deputy Commissioner of South West Garo Hills, RZD Shira in the presence of Additional Deputy Commissioners of the district, Rezina Marak and Mary Lisa Sangma on Thursday at Deputy Commissioner's chamber, Ampati.

The Electoral Registration Officers of the following Assembly Constituencies, viz. 53 - Ampati (ST), 54 - Mahendraganj (ST) and 55 - Salmanpara (ST) have prepared the Final Photo Electoral Rolls in accordance with the Registration of Electoral Rule, 1960 w.r.t 27.03.2024 as the qualifying date

This initiative aims to ensure transparency and promote a fair democratic process by providing political parties with the most up-to-date and accurate voter information. This distribution marks a crucial step in fostering trust and confidence in the electoral process, enabling political parties to prepare and strategize effectively.

The Electoral Rolls are available for inspection at the Office of the District Election Officer, South West Garo Hills, Ampati, Office of the Block Development Officers, South West Garo Hills District and all Booth level Officers (BLOs) in their representative polling stations.
