Press Release No. 186/13 SK OIL RELEASED IN EAST KHASI HILLS Shillong, April 8, 2013: The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District has informed the public consumers that SK Oil for the month of April 2013 has been released and will be distributed through the SK Oil Retailers to all family identity card holders in urban areas and households in rural areas. The scale of issue has been fixed at 7 litres per card in urban areas while in rural areas the scale of issue may be determined by the Local Durbar or Vigilance Committee in consultation with respective SK Oil Retailers. The price per litre has been fixed at Rs. 16.15/-, in Shillong areas (urban), Rs. 16.60/- in Mylliem/ Laitlyngkot areas, Rs. 16.65/- in Mawkynrew areas, Rs. 16.80/- in Pynursla areas, Rs. 17.00/- in Mawsynram/Balat areas, Rs. 17.10/- in Mawryngkneng areas, Rs. 17.20/- in Mawphlang areas and Rs. 16.80/- in Weiloi areas. Any non-supply of SK oil by the retailers as instructed above may be brought to the notice of the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District, Shillong with all the details. |
Press Release No. 187/13 COACHING CLASS FOR UPSC CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION Shillong, April 8, 2013: Applications are invited from candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, OBCs who are eligible to appear at the UPSC Civil Services (Qualifying) Examination 2014 for admission into the All India Services Pre-Examination Training Centre, Additional Secretariat Building (MATI premises), Shillong. Candidates who have at least passed the Degree Examination with a minimum of 50 percent average marks in aggregate and who have not undergone training or have undergone training only once in any of the Pre-Examination Training Centres in the country and who intend to apply for the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2014 will be eligible for consideration for enrolment into the Centre. The applicants should apply or should have applied to the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for admission into the CS (Prelims) Examination 2014 within the time frame fixed by the UPSC. Out-station trainees admitted into the coaching course will be eligible for a stipend of Rs. 700/- per month and local trainees a monthly stipend of Rs. 225/- per month subject to their fulfilling the prescribed terms and conditions of attendance, income limit, etc indicated. The last date for receipt of application in the prescribed form is within April 22, 2013. Printed application form may be obtained from the office of the Joint Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Personnel & Administrative Reforms (B) Department on a written request accompanied with a self addressed envelope (23cm x 10 cm) bearing Rs. 10/- postage stamp. Classes will commence from June 3, 2013. |
