PRICE OF FUEL REVISED

Shillong, April 11, 2013: Due to the change in storage point price of all markets, there is a change of Retail Selling Prices (RSP) for HSD with effect from 02.04.2013. Therefore, the retail outlet wise within Shillong Sadar Sub-Division has been revised with immediate effect.

In Ashok Auto Service, Shillong the price per litre of MS is Rs. 67.41 and Extra Premium is Rs. 76.00, in Kurbah Service Station, Mawngap, the price of MS is Rs. 67.53 and HSD is Rs. 49.07. In United Hills SS Station, Shillong, the price of MS is Rs. 67.41, Extra Premium is Rs. 76.41 and HSD is Rs. 49.02. In Mahari & Sons, Shillong, the price of MS is Rs. 67.34 and that of HSD is Rs. 48.99. In Moreland Sootink, Sohra, the price of MS is Rs. 67.35 and that of HSD is Rs. 48.99. In Bawri Hills, Mawlai, the price of MS is Rs. 67.34, Extra Premium is Rs. 76.34 and HSD is Rs. 48.99. In Bawri SSTN, Shillong, the price of MS is 67.41, Extra Premium is Rs. 76.41 and HSD is Rs. 49.02. In Eastern Border Service Station, Shella, the price of HSD is Rs. 48.75. In Arkiwan Service Station, Sohiong, the price of MS is Rs. 67.35 and that of HSD is Rs. 49.02. In Kharnairi Service Center, Mawsynram, the price of MS is Rs. 67.43 and HSD is Rs. 49.02. In Pynbiang Retailing Centre, Mawiong, the price of MS is 67.34, Extra Premium is Rs. 76.34 and HSD is Rs. 48.99. In Assam Auto Agencies, Jail Road, the price of MS is Rs. 67.41. In Khasi Hills Petrol Sup Co., Mawlai, the price is Rs. 67.34 and HSD is Rs. 48.99. In Mawiong Motors, Mawiong, the price of MS is Rs. 67.34 and HSD is Rs. 48.99. In Rani Service Station, Weiloi, the price of MS is Rs. 67.43 and HSD is Rs. 49.02. In Roibha Fuel Station, Mawngap, the price of MS is Rs. 67.53 and HSD is Rs. 49.07 and in D’Mercy Refill Center, Laitjem, the price of MS is Rs. 67.53 and that of HSD is Rs. 49.07 per litre.

Any overcharging of the above mentioned retail prices by the agents of the company should be brought to the notice of the Deputy Commissioner (Supply) by giving full details and particulars.

SOHRA INTER SCHOOL ATHLETIC MEET 2013 GETS UNDERWAY

Shillong, 11 April 2013: Shri Cyril V.D. Diengdoh ,Sub-Divisional Officer (C),Sohra, Sohra Civil Sub-Division inaugurated the three days Sohra Inter School Athletic Meet 2013 on 10th April, 2013 which was participated by 20 schools of the Sub-Division at Sohra Sports Association Stadium. The Meet which was organised by the Sohra Sports Association started with the marching parade of different schools comprising of 18 contingents.

In his inaugural address, Mr. Diengdoh congratulated the members of the association for organizing such a Meet which he hoped would benefitted the student community and at the same time expressed his immense pleasure to be able to associate himself with the meet. “The impressive marching parade and discipline maintained by different contingents is the essence of sporting spirit of participation” he asserted. Further, “Sports is part of school curriculum where different schools comes together to compete in different events wherein they have to give their best to achieve the maximum level of success and it also serves as a platform where one can showcase one’s talent.” He encouraged one and all to take up sports as their career and represent not only the state but at the national level as well. He therefore urged upon them to compete fairly and squarely in the right spirit of the game. He then wished them success and declared the Meet opened.

Oath –taking from Flag Bearers of different teams and other events for the Under 14 and Under 16 followed thereafter.

Shillong, April 11, 2013: The Secretary, Meghalaya Public Service Commission, Shillong has informed that the number of vacancies specified against the post of Stenographer Grade I in the Meghalaya Civil Secretariat may please be read as 5 instead of 8 as informed by the Government earlier.
