WHOLE-MEAL ATTA DISTRIBUTED

Shillong, April 2, 2013: The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District has informed that Whole-meal Atta for the month of February 2013 is being distributed through the Fair Price Shops at the scale of 1128 grams per head at the rate of Rs. 7.80 per kg. The additional quota of Whole-meal Atta for the month of October-December 2012 and January-February 2013 will be distributed at the scale of 2733 grams per head at the rate of Rs. 7.80 per kg.

Any non-supply or overcharging of the rate by the suppliers may be brought to the notice of the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District, Shillong with all the details.

TEST TRIAL OF SIRENS TO BE CARRIED OUT

Shillong, April 2, 2013: The Joint Director of Civil Defence & Joint Commandant General of Home Guards, Meghalaya, has informed that test trial (sounding of siren) will be carried out of all the newly installed sirens in the seven locations of Shillong for 7 seven days with effect from 03.04.2013.

The locations are Madanrting Police Station, Meghalaya Fire & Emergency Service, Laban Circuit House, Lumdiengjri Police Station, PTS Mawroh, Police Reserve, Jail Road and State Central Library.
