ASSAM RIFLES TECHNICAL AND TRADESMAN RECRUITMENT RALLY

The Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District has informed that the Directorate General Assam Rifles, Shillong is conducting a Technical and Tradesman Recruitment Rally at Laitkor, Shillong with effect from 3rd April, 2017 for male and female candidates from across the country. Candidates have to undergo physical standard tests and physical efficiency test including 0.5 kms run for male candidates and 1.6 km run for female candidates.

The Raj Bhavan, Shillong will be open for general public on 8th April, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm to view the blooming spring flowers of Raj Bhavan, Shillong. This was informed by the Deputy Secretary to the Governor of Meghalaya.

NOTICE

In accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition Redressal) Act, 2013, the District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills has directed all the organisations, whether private or public sector having more than 10 workers to constitute an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) for receiving complaints of sexual harassment. Complaints with regard to non-compliance of the direction may be intimated to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong. All employers within the District are requested to furnish the details of the Internal Complaints Committee constituted to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills. The Local Complaints Committee in the District has been constituted in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills, Shillong in accordance with Para 6 of the Act.

NATIONAL LOK ADALAT

The Chief Judicial Magistrate Cum Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, West Garo Hills, Tura, has informed that the National Lok Adalat on all subject matters will be held in the premises of the District & Session Court, Tura on 8th April, 2017 from 10:00 AM onwards. All persons who have received summons/notices for settlement/disposal of their cases are requested to attend the National Lok Adalat.
