OBSERVATION OF SPECIAL IMMUNIZATION WEEK IN EAST KHASI HILLS

Shillong, May 10, 2013: The office of the District Medical & Health Officer, East Khasi Hills, under the aegis of National Rural Health Mission (NHRM) will hold the Special Immunization Week 2013 throughout the District. The 1st round will be conducted on May 13-18, 2013, 2nd round on August 19-24, 2013, 3rd round on September 23-28, 2013 and the 4th round will be conducted on November 11-16, 2013.

The objective of the programme is to ensure that all children below 2 years of age due for immunization are immunized with various antigen of immunization in order to protect them from the killer diseases like Tuberculosis, Polio, Diptheria, Pertusis, Tetanus, Hepatitis and Measles. Therefore all parents are requested to take their children to the nearest Government Health Centres, namely, DH, CHC, PHC, Sub Centre, Dispensaries and Urban Health Centre.

QUOTATIONS INVITED FROM IMFL LICENSE HOLDERS

Shillong, May 10, 2013: The Deputy Commissioner (Excise), East Khasi Hills District invites sealed quotations from holders of retail IMFL license for auction of IMFL Deluxe Brand, Premium Brands and Beer.

The quotations, affixing with court fee stamps of Rs. 25/-, should be in sealed envelopes and should be submitted latest by May 20, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the office chamber of the Assistant Commissioner of Excise and will be opened on the same day.
