Press Release No. 201/10 MONTHLY ALLOCATION OF RICE UNDER ANNAPURNA Shillong, May 11, 2010: The Director of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs has informed that the monthly allocation of Rice under Annapurna at BPL prices which is at the rate of Rs. 565/- per quintal has been released and the quantities allocated in Shillong is 206.00 quintal, Sohra is 28.90 quintal, Nongpoh is 21.30 quintal, Nongstoin is 56.50 quintal, Mairang is 32.60 quintal, Mawkyrwat is 54.60 quintal, Jowai is 97.50 quintal, Khliehriat is 9.70 quintal, Amlarem is 65.00 quintal, Tura is 148.00 quintal, Ampati is 70.00 quintal, Dadengiri is 28.90 quintal, Baghmara is 70.10 quintal, Williamnagar is 23.00 quintal, and Resubelpara is 14.20 quintal. The validity period for depositing of cost and lifting of the food grains for the month of April 2010 is 45 (forty five) days and for May 2010 is 50 (fifty) days from the date issue of Government of India i.e the 28th April 2010. The lifting of June 2010 quota onwards will be as usual i.e up to the last day if the month to which the allocation pertains. |
