COVID-19 APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR AT THE VEC LEVEL

As part of the containment of the spread of the COVID-19 virus particularly in rural areas, the Mission Director, State Rural Employment Society, Meghalaya has directed all field officials including APOs, Technical Assistants and Gram Sevak, while going to the VECs for carrying out their day to day works, create awareness among VECs the importance of wearing face mask properly and to maintain social distancing at all time.

The Mission Director, State Rural Employment Society also instructed APOs, Technical Assistants and Gram Sevak to mobilize and facilitate all job card holders who are above 45 years of age for vaccination.

ORDER FOR CLOSURE OF BONDED WAREHOUSES, IMFL OFF SHOPS, BARS, HOTEL, CLUBS, CANTEENS AND OUTSTILLS

The Deputy Commissioner (Excise), East Khasi Hills District has declared that all bonded warehouses, IMFL off shops, bars, hotel, clubs, canteens and outstills in the entire Shillong agglomeration will remain closed with effect from 11th to 17th May, 2021.

However, home delivery of liquors can still be carried out by the IMFL ‘OFF’ licensees possessing Home Delivery License and subject to valid passes issued by the office of the Deputy Commissioner (Excise), East Khasi Hills District.

According to the Deputy Commissioner (Excise), East Khasi Hills District, all Covid-19 protocols should be maintained during delivery of orders.
