OLD AGE PENSION SCHEME RELEASED

Shillong, May 18, 2012: The Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, has informed that the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS) under East Khasi Hills has been released @ Rs. 250/- per month to the beneficiaries attaining the age of 60-79 years and @ Rs. 500/- for the beneficiaries attaining the age of 80 years above for a period April, 2011 to July, 2011 and is being distributed/credited through the Account No. duly opened by the beneficiaries in their respective Banks/Post Office.

Any case of non-transfer may be brought immediately to the notice of the office of the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong.

AMLAREM SUB-TREASURY TO START OPERATION

Shillong, May 18 2012: The Treasury Officer, Amlarem Sub-Treasury, Jaintia Hills District has informed all concerned Government Departments and the general public that the Amlarem Sub-Treasury will commence the Government transaction for both receipts and payments w.e.f the 22nd May, 2012 onwards.

Therefore, all concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officers within the jurisdiction of Amlarem Sub-Treasury are directed to submit/present their Bills including Government Treasury Challans at least two days before the commencement of the said transaction in order to enable the office to process the same accordingly.
