Press Release No. 348/06 ARMY RECRUITMENT RALLY The Deputy Commissioner, Ri Bhoi District, Nongpoh has informed that the army recruitment rally for Junior Commissioned Officer (Religious Teachers, Pandit, Granti, Bodh monk, Padri and Maulvi) will be held on July 18, 2006 at 8.00 AM at the Headquarter Recruiting Zone, Shillong for the RRT-52 Courses. Candidates should be between 27-34 years of age for fresh candidates and 25-34 years of age for re-mustered candidates as on 11 December 2006. For the post of Pandit candidates should be graduate with Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhusand in Hindi or any standard equivalent, for Granthi candidates should be graduate with Vidwan in Punjabi or equivalent standard, for Bodh monk candidate should be 10+2 and must be an ordained monk/Buddhist by appropriate authority, for Padri candidates should be graduate and must be an ordained priest by authority and for Mauli-Maulvi should be Alim in Arabic, Adib Alim in Urdu or equivalent standard. Serving personnel must be 10+2 for re-mustering of Army personnel as Religious Teacher. Candidates are required to produce educational certificate, character certificate, permanent resident certificate, ST/SC certificate and 2 (two) registered self addressed envelopes affixed with stamp and 3 (three) pass port size photographs. The last date for submission of application form is May 20, 2006. |
