REGISTRATION UNDER GOODS AND SERVICES TAX

The Commissioner of Taxes, Meghalaya has informed that the enrollment process under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime is open for all Value Added Tax (VAT) Payers and Stakeholders. Enrollment of existing tax payers till 15th June, 2017 and from 17th June 2017 onwards enrollment for Tax Deduction at Source for all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDO’s) and Enrollment for Goods and Service Tax (GST) Practitioners. From 21st June, 2017 onwards registration for New Tax Payers under the GST Regime and from 25th June, 2017 onwards registration for Dealers opting for Composition Scheme under the Goods and Services Tax.
