MEGHALAYA BUILDING BYE LAWS

Shillong, June 15, 2011: The Secretary, Meghalaya Urban Development Authority (MUDA), Shillong has informed that the Meghalaya Building Bye Laws 2011 has been notified by the Government in the Urban Affairs Department.

Therefore, all building permission applications shall be prepared and submitted in accordance with the above Byelaws with provisions of rain water harvesting, soft cover. The said byelaws can be downloaded from the website www.meghalaya.nic.in.

PENSION ADALAT

Shillong, June 15, 2011: The Deputy Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Finance (Pension Cell) Department and Member-Coordinator Pension Adalat has informed all concerned pensioners that the Pension Adalat shall be held District wise 16th June to 9th August, 2011.

In East Khasi Hills, the Adalat will be held on 16th to 24th June, 2011 from 10:30 Am at MATI Hall, Additional Secretariat Annex, in West Khasi Hills it will be held on 11th and 12th July, 2011 in the office of the Deputy Commissioner and Ri-Bhoi District on 13th July, 2011 at DC’s office. In East Garo Hills, the Adalat will be held on 28th & 29th July, 2011, and West and South Garo Hills on 1st, 2nd & 3rd August, 2011 in the respective DC’s office. In Jaintia Hills, the Pension Adalat will be held on 8th & 9th August in the DC office.
