ORDER UNDER SECTION 144 CRPC

In view of the prevailing law and order situation, the District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District has issued an order that under section 144 CrPC RELAXED the curfew in all the curfew bound areas falling under Shillong Agglomeration for 18 (eighteen) hours from tomorrow the 19th June, 2018 with effect from 5:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. and is promulgated again with effect from 11:00 P.M. to 5:00 A. M. and until further order. Also the District Magistrate, East Khasi Hill District has RELAXED curfew in areas under Lumdiengjri Police Station, that is, Jaiaw, Mawkhar, Umsohsun, Riatsamthiah, Wahingdoh, Mission, Mawprem, Lumdiengjri, Lamavilla, Qualapatty, Wahthapbru, Sunny Hill, Cantonment, Mawlong Hat including Cantonment Beat House Areas (excluding localities beyond Umshyrpi bridge) for 16 (sixteen) hours from tomorrow the 19thJune 2018 with effect from 5.00 A.M. to 9.00 P.M. and is promulgated again with effect from 9.00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M. and until further orders. The order will come into force with immediate effect and remain in force till further order.
