AWARDS FOR GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES FOR OUTSTANDING PUNCTUALITY IN OFFICE ATTENDANCE

Shillong, June 30, 2015: Meghalaya Chief Secretary, Shri. P. B.O. Warjri gave away cash awards and certificates to 32 Government employees in the Meghalaya Civil Secretariat in appreciation of outstanding punctuality displayed by them during the year 2014-15 in office attendance at a function held at the Conference Room, Main Secretariat, Shillong on 30th June, 2015.

The attendance was based as per the record in the Access Control System which was installed in the Secretariat by the Secretariat Administration Department.

The Award ceremony was presided over by Shri. P.K. Naik, Additional Chief Secretary in-charge Secretariat Administration Department which was also attended by Smti R.V. Suchiang, Principal Secretary, Personnel department, Shri. Akash Deep, Chairman Award Committee, Shri. H. M. Shangpliang, Secretary, General Administration department beside others.

While congratulating the awardees, Shri. Warjri said that the awards were presented as a token of recognition of their punctuality in attending office. He further said that punctuality reflect dedication, sincerity and commitment to their duties.
