Press Release No. 360/06 PRIME MINISTER'S SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME The Director of Sainik Welfare, Meghalaya, Shillong, invites application from ward, widow of ex- service men pursuing professional degree programmes in Engineering, Medicine, Dental, Veterinary, MBA and MCA duly recognized by respective government regulatory bodies such as AICTE, UGC, etc. The scheme is applicable only to those candidates who have joined the professional courses in the academic year 2006-07. The amount of scholarship is Rs.1250/- and Rs.1500/-per month for boys and girls respectively. Application form can be obtained on payment of Rs.30/- by Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Secretary, Kendriya Sainik Board, Delhi and Director, Sainik Welfare, Meghalaya, Shillong. The last date of submission of application at Kendriya Sainik Board, Delhi is August 31, 2006. |
