REGISTRATION OF PRIVATE BORE WELLS AND TUBE WELLS IN EAST JAINTIA HILLS DISTRICT

With an aim to study the ground water development and its scientific management in the East Jaintia Hills District, the Executive Engineer, Water Resource (WR) Cum Member Secretary District Level Committee on Ground Water Resources, East Jaintia Hills Division, Khliehriat has directed all individuals, private and public institution within East Jaintia Hills District owning private bore wells, tube wells to compulsorily register themselves with all relevant documents in the office of the Executive Engineer, Water Resource (WR), East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat with immediate effect. Noncompliance of the directive would be dealt as per provision of law. Necessary details and information are available in the office of the Executive Engineer, Water Resource (WR), East Jaintia Hills Division, Khliehriat.
