Press Release No. 264/22 NYK SHILLONG CELEBRATED 121ST BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF DR SYAMA PRASAD MUKHERJEE Nehru Yuva Kendra, Shillong Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Govt. of India in Collaboration with Pasteur Institute Shillong celebrate the 121st Birth Anniversary of Dr Syama Prasad Mukherjee in Youth Hostel Shillong on 6th July, 2022. Dr S.Khongthogrem Principal Riwar College was the Chief Guest and Dr. B.G. Myrthong ,Pathologist Regional Blood Center Pasteur, Shillong as Guest of Honour. Celebration was organized by Blood Donation Camp and Cyber Awareness. Chief Guest Dr S. Khongthohrem highlighted about the life of Dr Syama Prasad Mukherjee. Dr B. G. Myrthong was given awareness on Blood Donation and she encourage the youths to come forward to donate blood because it will save life and nothing will happen if we donate blood but we should be very happy that we save one life at least in our life and before blood donation, medical checkup will be done and if your weight and Haemoglobin are good then you can donate blood, they will not take by force or pressure to anyone for blood donation but only those who are voluntarily willing to save life can donate blood. |
