RAJ BHAVAN OPEN TO PUBLIC

Shillong, August1, 2011: In connection with the Independence Day 2011 celebration, the Raj Bhavan, Shillong is being kept open for the general public on the 14th and 15th August, 2011 (Sunday & Monday) from 5:30 PM to 7:30. This was informed by the Under Secretary to the Governor of Meghalaya.

NOTICE

Shillong, August1, 2011: In a press release issued, the Managing Director, Meghalaya Transport Corporation Shillong has requested all passengers/commuters of SPTS buses to insist on tickets from the Conductor. Anyone found travelling without tickets by the checking staff will be liable to pay a fine of Rs. 50/- plus the fare of the journey.

Commuters are also requested to tender the exact change, maintain cleanliness and avoid spitting/rubbing lime inside the buses.
