PUBLIC GRIEVANCES COMMITTEE MEETING HELD

Shillong, August 2, 2013: The State Level Public Grievances Committee meeting was held on the 30th July 2013 at Additional Secretariat Building, Shillong to discuss issues relating to PWD roads and bridges, appointment of Vice-Chairman and non-Official Members in the State Level Public Grievances Committee and issues relating to Meghalaya House, Kolkata. The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of the State Level Public Grievances Committee Mr. K C Momin in the presence of Mr. Mukul Das, Co-Chairman, Mr. P W Muktieh, Co- Chairman, Mr Mohendro Rapsang, Co-Chairman and Mr. S Nongsiej, Member Secretary.

The Committee decided to visit all district Headquarters in the state and to arrange the meeting with the Deputy Commissioner, all District Heads and leading citizens of the area to create awareness on the importance of the committee reconstituted, implementation of Public Grievances Redressal System by all departments in the state and to regularly meet the Chief Minister and concerned Ministers as and when required.
