YOUNG TALENT ARTISTES AWARD 2018-2019

The North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Dimapur invites application for Young Talent Artistes Award for the year 2018-19 from outstanding candidates, talented/skilled in the categories of Folk & Tribal music/songs and Dance Theatre, Dance Drama, Mime, Painting, Wood/Cane & Bamboo Crafts, Traditional Handloom and Handicrafts, Pottery etc.

Young artistes/artisans in the age group of 18 to 30 years (as on 31st March, 2020) are eligible to apply for the Award. The Award consists of Rs. 10,000/-, a citation and a Memento. A candidate should be an Indian citizen and indigenous to the eight North Eastern States. Candidates who have received any such Awards (State/National) earlier in the same field are not eligible for the Scheme. Deserving artistes/artisans may collect the Application Form from the office of the Director of Arts & Culture, Government of Meghalaya, Shillong. The last date for submission of application is on 31st August, 2019 and no application thereafter will be entertained.
