Press Release No. 388/11 PERIODICAL INSPECTION AND TESTING OF ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION TO BE CONDUCTED Shillong, August 8, 2011: The Senior Electrical Inspector, Meghalaya, Shillong has informed all suppliers or traders of electricity/owner of electrical installation including DG sets, that as per the Regulation 30 of Measures relating to safety and Electric Supply Regulation, 2010, a periodical inspection and testing is to be conducted where an installation is already connected to the supply system of a supplier or trader at an interval not exceeding five years by an Electrical Inspector. Therefore, all factories/industries/commercial establishment within the State of Meghalaya are to produce/declare the current demand load of their factories/industries/ commercial establishment as stipulated under Regulation 5 to the office of the Senior of Electrical Inspector, Horse Shoe building, Lower Lachaumiere, Meghalaya, Shillong for inspection. |
